After finishing the larger finger paintings, I realised they're so quick and fun to make, why not make one on an even larger scale? So that's what I did, and this is the result (Above).

I had a rough idea of how I wanted the image to turn out, but again the piece turned out better than I expected simply from the technique it's painted in! When I stood back and looked at it properly afterwards, I realised I had subconciously used skills I have aquired throughout this moduele to produce this piece.

Today was also the final assessment for the Methodology Moduele. It was good to be able to discuss the journey I have taken this semester in detail, the artists that inspired me throughout and what worked best and why.

Personally this module has taught me a lot of things, yet it hasn't been particularly easy: to experiment with anything that could be used as a surface/tool to paint with/on, to push through and carry on creating even when you think you're stuck in the biggest of rutts, but most importantly how to be free with my work and not to concentrate too much on getting things perfect.
