GENZKEN: Mass Culture/Social Critisism

This exhibition was also in Amsterdam at the time of my visitation in the museum of modern art opposite the Van Gogh museum. The work was wacky, wild and brilliant, not holding back at all. It jumped out in front of the viewer and demanded to be admired - and for that factor alone I loved it. The pieces were a range of sculptures, paintings and mixed media canvasses although for once I think I enjoyed the sculptures more than the paintings!
